"GC Bad Bevensen - founded in 1989"
The Golf Club Bad Bevensen was established in 1991. While planning the course the investor and developer Günther Held who himself has been a passionate golfer for more than 30 years made sure that the natural conditions were brought into the design of the course. Therefore about half of the holes are situated in an absolutely high forest. The fairways here are quite narrow and precision play is called for. The other holes are located in somewhat more open and hilly terrain. Numerous bunkers and many water hazards provide further obstacles on the way to the hole. Even so the course always remains fair. The holes are mostly kept short so that it depends more on precision play rather than distance..
